Medicare Part B premiums in 2016 for some people may be going up...a lot!  Medicare says people who receive Medicare benefits but are not on Social Security could see the based Part B premium increase from $104.90 per month to $158.30.  That increase would impact about 30% of people with Medicare.Rates won't be announced until October - this alert came as part of the Trustees Report on the Medicare trust fund.  Why the big Part B increase for some?
