If you have a Medicare Supplement plan chances are you are paying more than you have to for coverage.   Medigap policyholders are not choosing the cheaper plans offered in their state, despite the fact that benefits are identical across all insurers, according to new research from the Kaiser Family Foundation.

There is little evidence that consumers are selecting Medigap plan based on price, say the researchers.
