As the baby boomers age, there is lots of talk about working longer, self employment, and encore careers. Many say they want to work longer to keep busy and for the social interaction. Others say it’s a financial decision – they need to keep working to pay the bills.
But here’s the catch. Researchers find that while people say they plan to work well past 65, the reality is most people retire at 62.
